Our Name. Our name comes from the old Southease way of counting sheep by Rhyme. This was a dialect used in the Sussex area. ONE THE RUM...One sheep !! Band Profile We have a great depth to our musicianship. Most of our members have a vast and varied experience from all areas of music, and do our up most to entertain. We have our own caller, we can advise on how to set up the event , and can even advise on menu's and costs. You do not even have to know how to dance as Val, our caller, will be there to show you.  We are ONE THE RUM because we enjoy what we do, and enjoy bringing you entertainment. The dances can be varied for to all standards, from beginners to the more experienced.
